DR. Sharad Sarin
Dr. Sarin has an experience of over 4 decades in Strategic
Management and Marketing, working in both academia and industry.
Dr. Sarin is currently on the governing board of Tata Refractories Ltd, Jamshedpur. He has also been on the governing boards of Lark Cables and Technologies Ltd at Goa, Rane Madras, Tega Industries Ltd at Kolkata, Mudra Institute of Communications, Ahmedabad (since its inception) and Xavier Labour Relations Institute, India.
Over the last 30 years, he has been a consultant to several large and well-known companies from all over the world. He has conducted several market studies and workshops to facilitate formulation of Strategic Marketing plans for his clients. His clients include companies from diverse sectors like iron and steel, textiles, pharmaceuticals, mining, and FMCG, among others.
Dr. Sarin has conducted more than 100 programmes and workshops on Strategic Marketing, Industrial Marketing, Relationship Marketing, Strategic Management and Customer Satisfaction in India and outside for over 42 clients in India and abroad.
He has published many papers in Industrial Marketing, Relationship Marketing, Services Marketing and Globalization. Dr. Sarin has also authored the book “Strategic Brand Management for B2B markets”, one of the few in the world on brand management for B2B markets.
Dr. Sarin has been teaching marketing at Xavier Labour Relations Institute (XLRI), India for over 30 years. Before joining XLRI he worked with Larsen & Toubro Ltd for 3 years.
He did MBA from the prestigious Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad and PhD in marketing from Pune.

DR. MITHILESHWAR JHA
Dr. Mithileshwar Jha is the Professor of Marketing from the
prestigious Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, India.
In a career spanning over two decades, Dr. Jha is credited with defining rural marketing in India, and contributed to national-level policymaking in the areas of public distribution systems, handlooms, and biogas.
He has undertaken several consulting assignments in which he has developed marketing strategies, decided inventory and credit policies, forecast demand for products and performed sector specific studies for clients in India and abroad. He has served as a consultant with international agencies like the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), NORAD, and the Canadian Hunger Foundation.
Dr. Jha has also conducted corporate training programs for organizations like Sadolin Paints (Oman) Ltd., Ambit-RSM, Kirloskars, Tata Group, Honda Siel Power Products, MICO-Bosch, Grasim Industries, HMT Ltd., Indian Telephone Industries Ltd., BPL, Siemens India, Reliance Industries, Ranbaxy, Berger Paints, and the government of India.
Dr. Jha has been a member of the working group on public distribution system of the Planning Commission, set up by the government to develop strategies for the eighth five-year plan. In past, he has served as a board member of IIM Bangalore, IIM Lucknow, and the Gandhi Peace Centre. Currently, he is serving on the boards of Karnataka Soaps and Detergents Ltd.
Dr. Jha did his MBA and Fellow programme in Management from Indian Institute of Ahmedabad, India and his engineering from G.B. Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar, India.

INDUSTRY
MR. RAJIV SINGH

Rajiv has top leadership experience in varied sectors like
banking, financial services, information communications
technology, and manufacturing. His rich experience varies from
conceptualizing the strategy for a start-up company to
successfully managing P&L operations of a high growth business.
This includes turnaround of blue chip MNCs like Computer
Associates (CA), Diebold Inc., Motorola Inc., and Tata Group
($98.4 billion market capitalization).
In the current assignment as Regional Director (India region) at Mphasis (a Hewlett Packard company with over $1 billion in revenues), he manages the business across diverse market verticals including banking, capital markets & insurance, manufacturing, healthcare, and telecom.
As the Managing Director of Diebold India (100% subsidiary of $3billion Diebold Inc., US) in 2003, Rajiv built the banking services backbone for Diebold and rapidly scaled up the business with threefold increase in turnover within 3 years. He built a strong managed services remote infrastructure management capability for services to banks in India to scale the services business into a profitable P&L in a tough market.
In the year 1999, he was offered a challenging assignment by Charles Wang (the founder Chairman of $5billion Computer Associates Inc. US), to create and launch a start-up software venture as its Chief Executive Officer (CEO). He successfully built the company, starting from obtaining FIPB clearance to setup of the software operations and launched the global leader in financial accounting, ACCPAC brand, in South East Asia to make the organization profitable within one year of its operations.
Rajiv has done Diploma in Business Management from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Pune, India and engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology, India. He has completed the Global Advanced Management Program at the Kellogg School of Management, North Western University Chicago, USA and the leadership program from the Kelley School of Business, Indiana University, USA.

MR. K.K. JHA

Mr. Jha is a veteran from Gas Authority of India Limited with
thirty seven years of rich, cross-functional experience. He has
handled a wide spectrum of responsibilities varying from project
management to operations and maintenance, total quality
management, administrations and HSE (Health, Safety and
Environment).
He has lead the implementation of Vijaipur base of HBJ pipeline project (one of the largest turnkey projects in GAIL) and managed the world's longest exclusive LPG pipeline, JLPL (Jamnagar Loni LPG Pipeline) as a separate profit unit within GAIL. He was instrumental in the business process re-engineering in JLPL and upgrading the quality standards of the pipeline. Due to these improvements the project won several awards.
Mr. Jha was also responsible for implementing an integrated process safety management system which minimize losses in GAIL's process plants and reduced the risks involved in processes.
Mr. Jha worked with Fertilizer Corporation of India for 18 years before joining GAIL. He is a mechanical engineer from Bhagalpur Engineering College, India.

MR. MANOHAR PARALKAR

Mr. Manohar B Paralkar has been anchoring the HR interventions for
Tata Nano and the sustainability initiatives across Tata Motors as a
Consultant Advisor. He has rich experience in setting up greenfield
projects and has headed Industrial Relations at Tata Motors.
With over 30 years of experience in the organization, Mr. Paralkar has been the Head for Corporate Social Responsibility and Industrial Relations at Tata Motors Limited and the founder member of Tata Council for Community Initiatives (TCCI).
Mr. Paralkar has catalyzed the Human Resource function for Tata Motors in its joint ventures with Fiat, Italy and Marcopolo, Brazil. He was involved in developing dynamic strategies in human resource management, industrial relations, industrial safety and corporate social responsibility, ensuring their deployment and implementation, with attention to optimally manage organizational change and talent. He has been involved in skill building at international locations like Roslyn, South Africa.
Mr. Paralkar has held important Chairs like the Human Resource / Employee Relations panel for the Western region of Confederation of Indian Industries and has been a member of MCCIA’s HRD committee. He has also served as a Vice President on the National Institute of Personnel Management, Pune in the past.
He has done graduation from Nagpur University and post graduation from Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai.
